The Team

Nik Boone

Nik is the Broker and Owner of Ascend Real Estate & Property Management. He has been selling and managing properties since 2010, and works diligently to offer the best service possible to all clientele, from the first-time buyer or renter, to the experienced investor.

Nik is an active buyers’ and sellers’ agent, assisting clients purchasing their first home, upgrading, or starting an investing portfolio themselves. Being a rental owner himself, Nik is familiar with the needs of the landlord and tenant through first-hand experience. Nik works directly with staff members to ensure a quality relationship between the owners, property manager, and tenants. This results in a well-informed, property owner who can expect a high return on investment, long-term, happy tenants, and a stress-free environment for buyers and sellers.

VANESSA VILLALOBOS

Vanessa is our General Manager at Ascend Real Estate and Property Management. She helps the day to day functionality of the office with each position as well as helping owners and tenants alike with any issues that arise. Vanessa is a calming presence in the office and is happy to figure out a solution for any problem that comes her way.

Vanessa is knowledgeable with each department and makes sure that they are communicating effectively and working together as a team, while also organizing team outings to make for a fun, yet efficient work environment. Vanessa is English-Spanish bilingual and able to offer service to our Spanish speaking clientele.



Kristine Quinn

Kristine is our Bookkeeper at Ascend Real Estate & Property Management. She handles all things financial, from tenants paying rent, to owner draws, answering questions on statements and the like, and everything in between. Kristine works endlessly to invoice, expense, balance, reconcile, and resolve any and all money matters that land on her desk.

Her caring attitude makers her eager to assist and effectively communicate with all clients any way she can, and her meticulous hard work, and dedication to her coworkers and position are invaluable.


Jennifer Beason

Jennifer is our Maintenance Coordinator here at Ascend Real Estate & Property Management. She answers all maintenance requests from tenants, provides quotes and updates to owners, and manages our in-house maintenance workers to complete high quality work, for a lower price than outside contractors!

Jennifer is an excellent communicator, with lots of experience in home services, project management, and personnel supervision. She serves as the liaison between the tenant completing the maintenance request, the professional submitting the quote and providing repairs, and the owner being well informed and aware of decisions needing to be made to keep the process flowing smoothly.


Janesse Bojorquez

Janesse is our Senior Administrative Assistant and primarily focuses on assisting us to lease out properties in a timely fashion, while also providing a personal touch for tenants. Janesse personally answers questions for potential tenants, while keeping the owners financial and personal needs in mind.

Once an application is received, she requests and reviews background checks, credit checks, and other personal information to ensure a high-quality tenant for each property. She also completes move out inspections to protect the owner from any unnecessary out of pocket expenses, all under the supervision of our Broker. Janesse is English-Spanish bilingual and able to offer service to our Spanish speaking clientele.


JAcqueline ‘jacki’ Barreraz

Jacki is our Project Coordinator for Ascend Real Estate and Property Management. She is in charge of scheduling vendors, giving quotes for remodels or vacant properties, and quality control for all maintenance work being done at Ascend. She has an extensive background in balancing projects and deadlines, and an attitude that helps her tackle all tasks, no matter what is thrown her way.

Jacki is quick to respond and update owners and tenants on their large scale projects and property rehabs. Her capabilities and positive communication skills make her a wonderful asset to our team.


Adilene ‘Adi’ Benavidez

There can be no successful team without organization, customer service, and a sense of urgency for all matters that could make, or break a deal. Those qualities, among so many others, are exactly what Adi Benavidez brings to our team. Adi comes from a long history of real estate transaction coordination, but she has so much experience to lend to all aspects of our business, you might find her helping out other departments from property management to maintenance as well! Her ‘can-do!’ attitude makes her an immense resource for Ascend.

Melissa Lara

Melissa is our receptionist and first point of contact for phone calls and visitors to Ascend. She is always eager to help anyone she can, and greets everyone with a smiling, cheerful attitude.

Melissa handles all walk-ins, key checkouts, appointments being made at the front desk, and over 200 calls a day that come in for applicants, home questions, maintenance requests, and so much more!


MacKenzie BOONE

MacKenzie is our human resources and payroll representative, handling personnel hiring, training, promotion, and appreciation. She is also our marketing specialist, assisting with everything from designing to implementing marketing materials, and working with other departments to maintain a fun, constructive work environment for all.

MacKenzie is truly a people person. MacKenzie strives to create simple, yet effective ways for all clients to understand and utilize all our company has to offer.
