Here are answers to some of the most common questions we’ve received.

  • September 1, 2025

  • We kindly ask that you do not prepay the month of September. Please wait until September 1, 2025 to pay your rent.

    After September, you may prepay your rent through your tenant portal or through check.

  • Please address rent checks to “Ascend Real Estate & Property Management” and send them to:

    7606 Meany Ave. #101 Bakersfield, CA 93308

  • No, cash may not be used to pay rent.

    Acceptable payment methods are debit, credit, check, eCheck, and electronic cash payments.

  • No. Maintenance requests must be written in writing via your tenant portal. Our maintenance coordinator will reach out for additional information as needed, contact the owner for repair approval, and schedule out technicians or qualified vendors as quickly as possible.


  • If you are having a maintenance emergency (e.g. major plumbing, electrical, or comparable issues that if left unattended would result in property or bodily damage) please call our after hours line at 661-873-5770 and pressing 5.

    For life threatening emergencies, please call 911 immediately.

  • Ascend is open Monday through Friday from 8AM to 5PM. Our office is located at 7606 Meany Ave. #101 Bakersfield, CA 93308.

    Please note our office is closed September 1st for a federal holiday.
